A life full of sorrow,
left in the ashes.
I rebuild my New World and
water my ground with tears.
Watch me rise, watch me grow.
As I rise to meet the new day,
I wait for the sun to warm my face.I leave my pain in the ashes,
Knowing the ashes will fertilize this sacred ground.
Preparing my soul for what is to come. I rise to meet a new day.
